RESPONSABILITIES
Actively participate in external and internal audits and ensure that corrective and preventive actions are implemented in a timely manner;
Train plant employees on HACCP requirements
Support his/her immediate supervisor and the Quality Assurance team in all other tasks in order to provide a high level of service to plant operations
Carry out the tasks and monitoring of the HACCP-PASA (prerequisite programs) and SQF (Safe Quality Food) plans;
Thoroughly inspect equipment, rooms and work areas before and during operations at required frequencies;
Ensure that all products are manufactured according to the prescribed rules;
Verbally communicate and remind employees and visitors of the hygiene rules to be followed at all times;
Maintain a healthy, respectful and efficient relationship with the different departments of the company;
Answer questions, provide information authorized for release by Montpak management, etc.
Completes paper and electronic forms properly and takes appropriate corrective and/or preventive action in accordance with procedures
Conduct investigations and prepare non-conformance reports within the prescribed timeframe, adapted to the deviations that occur, and follow up on corrections
Carry out calibrations and other measures required by the company's standards
Carry out any other related tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Have a college diploma (DEC) in food technology or related training;
At least one (1) year of experience in a HACCP and SQF certified company;
Essential knowledge of the food processing industry;
Good command of French, spoken and written;
Understanding of functional English;
Computer skills: MS Office Suite, ability to learn new quality assurance management software (Datahex, PECS+, etc.);
Comfortable with quality tools;
Excellent teamwork skills, good communication skills and positive spirit;
Ability to learn quickly;
Punctual and diligent at work;
Responsible, detail oriented and quality conscious.
