RESPONSABILITIES

Under the responsibility of the preventionist, ensure the compliance of the sites with the various

  • Regulations and Laws in force;
  • Promote and support a safety culture based on behaviors;
  • Identify, prioritize and develop an action plan and follow-ups for risk management;
  • Develop, follow up and implement the activities of the annual SST action plan;
  • Carry out the statistics and the different SST reports;
  • Apply prevention programs and action plans in SST matters;
  • Implements the appropriate tools to raise awareness, provide ongoing training, involve and advise supervisory staff, employees and the CSS on the importance of prevention;
  • Collaborates and organizes the animation of the SST Committee meetings;
  • Carry out investigations and analyses of accidents and ensure the follow-up of corrective measures;
  • Participate in CNESST visits and respond to inspectors' requests;
  • Collaborate with the Mutuelle de prévention during annual visits and participate in the correction of non-conformities, if applicable;
  • Drafting of SST procedures and policies;
  • Organize, manage, train and develop training for employees;
  • All other related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

    • Have a degree in environment, health and safety at work or any other relevant training;
    • Excellent command of the French language, both written and oral;
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);
    • Strong sense of customer service;
    • Management of priorities and deadlines;
    • Team player and good communicator.
